Dry but for the top of the Koven col. Spikes and axe only needed if you avoid the Ice Cream Cone on the South to Nez Perce traverse.

Latest report says no crampons needed for the Teewinot-Owen traverse. You'll find snow when traversing across the top of the Koven col but it's all blue ice below (ie-self arrest would be nearly impossible.) One may also skirt the snow aprons on Mt Owen by traversing low on the slabs below. Check back for updates on the North Ridge. Keep an eye on the weather as things are predicted to get juicy in the next few days which may create icy conditions on the route, depending on the temperature of the storm.

The Teewinot-Owen traverse is starting to melt out but crampons and ice axe are still needed for multiple sections. The standard GT North Face route continues to have snow and ice. Depending whether or not the monsoonal flow of moisture and cooler temperatures continues, will dictate when the route begins drying out.
