Recent snow storms have left behind rime ice and wet rock on this route.  Expect areas of ice and snow throughout this route (including on Wall Street) even after the steeper sections dry out with improving conditions.  The approach to the Lower Saddle and base of the route also still require an ice axe and/or crampons, as does descent of the Owen-Spalding Route.
