Route is dry and descent off the west side no longer requires an axe or crampons. Keep an eye out for verglas around any remaining snow and ice patches.

The Upper Exum route is primarily snow and ice free, a few small sections of snow and wet rock are straight forward. An axe and crampons are still needed for safe descent of the upper mountain.
June 10, 2023
Snow and ice will be encountered on the approach and descent. On route a mix of dry rock, snow, and icy cracks will be found. Crampons and an axe necessary for ascent.
